Hey, welcome to my page. Just joined Sparks 5/13/11. About to reach that retirement age and want to be in good health so I can enjoy the "golden years". Want to lose 100 pounds and keep it off with good strudy life style changes I can heed to until Jesus comes. Have grown children, 11 grandchildren and would love to leave them an example of good health.

Welcome to Spark People!! It can be a bit overwhelming at the beginning, but keep exploring, it will get easier with time. I've been "Sparking" for 3 1/2 months now and it has made all the difference in my health journey. In the past when I was going it alone, I would give up when it got tough. Now, when it gets hard I think of all my Spark Friends and it helps me keep going. I truly believe it's different this time, and that I will make it. I truly believe you will too!! I just wanted to post a quick Welcome to the 50+ members with 100+ Pounds to lose TEAM. We're so glad to have you join us. Please jump in and have a good time getting healthy. This is an excited group of folks and really active team so you should be able to find all sorts of inspiration and motivation. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. There's always someone willing to help in any way possible. Don't forget to use the food/water tracker that spark people provides as well as the fitness tracker.
