Re-sparking!

I am re-sparking after a year-long lapse. Woohoo!

I have maintained some consistent eating habits (such as several "You-Diet" principles), and others have gone to the birds (call it the weekend rebellion). I was also able to maintain a wintertime burst of exercise (ie. my husband and I walking at 2 a.m. in 9 degree weather).

I haven't had the consistent computer access that I had when I joined spark... I am recognizing this as a challenge and not a valid excuse, ...

I have reason to be optimistic, because starting in 2006, my family was able to lose a QUARTER TON, and Dad was a bonafide Spark Success Story.

{Sunday Night Family Dinner and Weigh-In}

This family is a fat-burning machine! We've lost 231 pounds since Jan. 1st, 2006 - well on our way toward our LTG of losing 500 pounds.

We're making a lot of lifestyle changes... the photo on the left was taken in the family "gym". Compare that to the "before" picture below, taken after a fried chicken dinner at a local restaurant. We even "lost" our friend... well, OK... she lives in Canada!
