What a year it has been. The first 6 months weren't all that great but the second half is really starting to take a turn and I am liking it. I got into Nursing school. I can't wait to be done and get a job. I have a hard time accepting that being a SAHM is a worthy member of our family. What a year it has been. The first 6 months weren't all that great but the second half is really starting to take a turn and I am liking it. I got into Nursing school. I can't wait to be done and get a job. I have a hard time accepting that being a SAHM is a worthy member of our family. I sometimes don't feel like I contribute as much as I could and therefore feel useless. In December of 2009 I went to trainning to become a Stroller Strides Instructor. I love the program and if I got started about how wonderful the program is you would forget this is about me. : ) However since getting into Nursing school I can't do both so I had to give it up. When I'm done with Nursing school and if I am able to get back to being an instructor I will. I started doing the C25K program and love it. I do a modified version however. I worked out when I did Stroller Strides so I am by no means out of shape. So right now I am doing it everyday for the first round and I will continue to do it so I can build up speed. So far I am down 9lbs. I should also mention that my biggest set back to my weight loss is my chocolate addiction and binge eating when there are any kind of sweets around. That includes soda. I have stopped buying the Sodas completely so I can stay away from them. So far I have done pretty well without them. Since working out on a regular basis I haven't had strong craving for chocolate which is awesome. I hope I can keep this up. I am liking that pounds are coming off and by next summer I would like to be somewhere between 125 & 135. At my most fit in HS i was about 140 and I was all muscle and was looking good so I don't know that going that low will look good on me but we will see. I have nice round booty and don't want to sacrafice that for getting too small. Curves are good. So in short I plan on sending 2010 out with a bang and continue on this lifestyle change for the rest of my life. If feels good to look good. :)

My Goals:
I want to be healthy and motivated. I want to set a better example for my kids on eating habits and exercising.
My Program:
C25K...then I am going to keep doing it using the walk time for running what ever my current speed is and incresing my speed to the next level on the run time. Then once I get to 9 on the treadmill I plan on doing the B210K plan and doing the same as with the C25K. I also plan on doing 30 day Shred by Jillian Michaels, Mama wants her body back by Lisa Druxman, Insanity and P90X. That should get me through April 2011

I am a momma of 2 wonderful munchkins. They are the reason for my want and need to get into shape. I am a SAHM. I also love to read. I am really into the Sookie Stackhouse series as well as the Mercy Thompson books. I love Jodi Piccoult & Candace Bushnell books as well.
