The Journey of 1000 Miles
The journey towards good health is a continuous one. There is no "arrival" for me. I believe the road to good health is not paved with diets and gadgets. My road's pavestones include sound nutrition that includes pleasurable food in reasonable portions. Cardio and strength training are foundational. That's it. Simple. And yet so very hard.

I relocated to Portland, OR in June 2011, realizing a lifelong goal of living in the Pacific NW. I **love** it here! I'm looking for partners in being active (hiking, walking/running, camping) and eating well.

Working in higher education to facilitate student success. I am mother to two wonderful girls, aged 17 and 9, an avid reader and rabid music fan. :-)
