To Dance Again

Confession time: I'm a yo-yo dieter and a binge eater. I'm just looking for tools to help keep me aware of what I'm eating. My goal isn't to lose weight right away, but to track my food intake accurately and honestly so that I become more mindful of what I put in my body.

I have so much weight to lose that I get discouraged thinking about how long it will take to reach my ultimate goal, so I'll be setting intermediate goals as I progress, all leading to a healthier me.

My Goals:
First goal: Track my food intake and become more aware of the portion sizes I eat.

Intermediate goal 1: Lose enough weight that my knees and ankles stop hurting when I walk.

Intermediate goal 2: Routine visits to the YMCA 3x a week for cardio/weight training.

Ultimate goal: Reach goal weight, be fit and healthy, and able to dance again.

My Program:
First goal: Join SparkPeople! Make use of trackers and other tools for motivation.

Intermediate goal 1: stretch daily, ride exercise bike, walk the dog.

Intermediate goal 2: Make it a habit!

Personal Information:
