Keep on Movin'

I have been overweight for as long as I can remember and, frankly, it stinks. But losing weight is one of those things that is all too easy to put off - I'll start tomorrow, next week, next month, etc. The problem is, when tomorrow comes it is just as easy to say "I'll start tomorrow" again. And so it goes on and on, and the years go by and no move is made.

Just under 8 months ago, I made the move. I have a long way to go, but I am still on the path. That's what matters more ...

And so it goes on and on, and the years go by and no move is made.

Just under 8 months ago, I made the move. I have a long way to go, but I am still on the path. That's what matters more than anything, and something that I am just now realizing. It doesn't matter how long it takes me to get to goal weight. Sure, it would be great to get there sooner rather than later, but the most important thing is that I actually get there. So if it takes me a few months longer than I originally thought it would, that's okay. I'll get there. Because I am not getting off this path. I am not giving up this time.

I'm going to keep on movin' until I hit my goal weight. And then I will keep right on movin' to make sure I never end up back where I started. I will never be that person again, physically, emotionally or mentally.

My Goals:
My biggest goal is to look in the mirror and like what I see. I like who I am inside, it's the outside I need to work on.

Specific to weight loss, my goal is 130 pounds. It's a long way off, but it's 50 pounds closer than it was when I sarted.

My Program:
Program seems so formal. I'm eating less, eating better and exercising.

I track all my food, and track all my exercise.

I do cardio 5 or 6 times a week, for at least 30 minutes.



Personal Information:
I am 32 years old, living in the midwest.

Zumba was hard but so much fun! I was sweating more after that class then I do when I run! But I forgot my heart rate monitor so I'm not sure how it really stacked up :( I'm not super coordinated so I was a little worried, but the instructor was great and even when I didn't get the steps, it was still upbeat and fun! Definitely recommend :)
