Time to dial it up to super-duper serious

I decided to get serious on 02-01-2010, it seemed like a good date. My husband and I had made an effort once before together, and he lost tons of weight and looks great now, and unfortunately I did not. My husband is being supportive while I try again with the help of the Spark this time.

Progress so far:
10lbs Lost: 3-1-10

20lbs Lost: 3-31-10

25lbs Lost: 4-14-10 (1/4 way point!)

30lbs Lost: 5-5-10

40lbs Lost: 6-9-10 ...

75lbs Lost: 2-9-11 (3/4 way Point!)

Things have slowed down for sure - but I'm staying positive and just chugging along!

My Program:
Watching what I eat and getting active.

We bought a Wii for Christmas 09, so I am using it to help meet my goals.

I also enjoy bike riding & walking.

I'm 28, been married since 2003, live in SE Michigan, tend to maintain a "zoo", go to school part time, work in a cubical full time, and am learning to love getting active again.

There were a lot of walkers in the 5k today, so don't let the running discourage you from doing it next year. It was a fun race--you should register right now, so you can't change your mind! :)

Hey lady, major congratulations on 60 lbs lost!!!!! You look amazing, and I'm so proud of you and inspired by you. Thanks for the goodie the other day - I haven't had a lot of time for sparking lately but I'm still hangin in with exercise and doing my best to eat healthy. I want to get back to that goal range soon :)

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! emoticon

I love October birthdays--it's not too cold, not too hot, the leaves are gorgeous, and when you're in school, you've gotten to know people well enough that you can just throw it into conversation, but it's not like you're asking for the attention (oh, those poor Septembers, hee hee). I hope your day was great!

I love cycling (and it's so great to meet another one, too!). You're right, there do seem to be a lot of runners on here. I used to be a runner forever and ever and ever ago, but I find that not as many things jiggle when I ride. emoticon

Looking forward to getting to know you better as we kick some "donkey" this holiday challenge. So excited!
