Day one. Every day is day one in achieving my goals. Each day is a new opportunity to do the best I can in my work, fitness and personal life. Despite my best efforts to get my weight under control by fitness alone, I have not been able to this with any success. I know what I need to do, but have not been able to stick with it as far as my food intake is concerned.

My Goals:
I want to finish my next marathon under five hours. I plan to compete in a half-iron triathlon in 2009, in addition to olympic and sprint distance events. My weight loss goal is 15 to 20 pounds. This should help me perform better than in previous years.
