Starting the Spark Solution...

On December 28th, 2009, I chose for the first time in my life...to put ME first. To make change the path that my life was on. I wanted to LIVE not just to live. I wanted more than sitting on the couch, falling asleep at 7pm every night and wishing i had the energy to clean my house. I have two beautiful children, both who learned unhealthy habits from me, both who are relearning habits now with me.

The road is a never ending one, and one that will definitely have twists, turns, ...

The road is a never ending one, and one that will definitely have twists, turns, bumps, potholes, and even sinkholes, but I am determined that I will follow the road and LIVE.

UPDATE: I am GETTING MARRIED!!!! Over the past year (august 2010 to now) I have put back on ALL the weight i worked so hard to lose. I am now working again to lose! My future husband is working WITH me on this goal, and together, we are moving toward healthy eating and getting up and MOVING! :)

MARRIED on July 16th, and still riding that wave of euphoria. :)

UPDATE (4/3/2013): I could give excuses and tell you how hard the past year has been, but essentially, I gave up. I am now back up to the highest weight i have ever been, and trying yet again to change. Now, I not only have to change MY eating patterns, but also my husbands, because together we can do it, separately, not so easily done.

UPDATE: (5/17/13): I am starting the Spark Solution two week challenge. I can do this, I WILL do this!

UPDATE: (12/29/13): I'm working on it.

UPDATE: (3/5/14): I'm nothing if not consistent in my failure to make a lifestyle change stick. sigh. I am trying again!

Hey! I just noticed that you like the hungry girl team. I have three of her cookbooks. I love her!!! She makes things that are definitely lower in calories and the nice thing is that a lot of her books are single serving.

Anyway, how are you? I feel like I haven't talked to you lately.

Hi..glad you stopped by & thanks for your kind words!
I always know what my issue is...eons ago I had the intestinal flu..
gads thought I was gonna die!! but ever since my tummy has been funky & it doesn't take much to set it off. A few days of mild foods & it settles in again..so not worried..just irritated!!! Wanna eat rich, spicy ..hot in flavor foods & tummy is not happy ...grrrrrrrrr

hee heee..we do what we can to be the best we can..& still enjoy life!

Haha! I saw your post on the Little Black Dress Huddle. I feel like it should be Sunday too! I did NOT want to get up this morning.

So far today though I've eaten well and I've already had 32 oz of water and I'm working on another 24 oz bottle now! How about you?
