Starting the Spark Solution...

On December 28th, 2009, I chose for the first time in my life...to put ME first. To make change the path that my life was on. I wanted to LIVE not just to live. I wanted more than sitting on the couch, falling asleep at 7pm every night and wishing i had the energy to clean my house. I have two beautiful children, both who learned unhealthy habits from me, both who are relearning habits now with me.

The road is a never ending one, and one that will definitely have twists, turns, ...

The road is a never ending one, and one that will definitely have twists, turns, bumps, potholes, and even sinkholes, but I am determined that I will follow the road and LIVE.

UPDATE: I am GETTING MARRIED!!!! Over the past year (august 2010 to now) I have put back on ALL the weight i worked so hard to lose. I am now working again to lose! My future husband is working WITH me on this goal, and together, we are moving toward healthy eating and getting up and MOVING! :)

MARRIED on July 16th, and still riding that wave of euphoria. :)

UPDATE (4/3/2013): I could give excuses and tell you how hard the past year has been, but essentially, I gave up. I am now back up to the highest weight i have ever been, and trying yet again to change. Now, I not only have to change MY eating patterns, but also my husbands, because together we can do it, separately, not so easily done.

UPDATE: (5/17/13): I am starting the Spark Solution two week challenge. I can do this, I WILL do this!

UPDATE: (12/29/13): I'm working on it.

UPDATE: (3/5/14): I'm nothing if not consistent in my failure to make a lifestyle change stick. sigh. I am trying again!

Glad it went so well. I was so sad when I lost so many steps the first time I changed my battery that I like to be sure to warn others. Keep up the good stepping! emoticon

I wrote this on your wall post but thought I'd put it here also:

Change your battery first thing in the morning or AT LEAST an hour after your last workout because you will lose your last hour of steps. Learned the hard way and lost 8000 steps the first time so now I change my battery as soon as I get up in the morning. Good luck!
