Living a Blessed Life...

I don't really have the kind of attention span to have kept me on SparkPeople since 2007 - so what gives?

Really - I have been nearly totally faithful at logging in, logging food, logging exercise, etc since 2007. There have been a few breaks, but by and large I have been here. I have served as a team leader and a community leader, and I have drifted back to plain 'ol member. The point is - I AM STILL HERE. I don't really have the kind of attention span to have kept me on SparkPeople since 2007 - so what gives?

Really - I have been nearly totally faithful at logging in, logging food, logging exercise, etc since 2007. There have been a few breaks, but by and large I have been here. I have served as a team leader and a community leader, and I have drifted back to plain 'ol member. The point is - I AM STILL HERE. Like I said, with my attention span, that right there is a minor miracle.

So, why? Because SP keeps me moving in the right direction and it keeps me accountable. I could never have kept up with WW like this. And frankly - the cost of SP is truly amazing. Have you really stopped to think about ALL these resources being free?!?

Another reason is my fellow Sparkers - not to overuse the word, but again, amazing is the best description I can conjure up. Always helpful and supportive, and like SP itself, always here.

As for the blessed life - it is. Great husband, super dog, and a wacky, fun family that I adore and that adores me. Then there is the completion of a goal I have held on to for a very long time - I graduate with my Bachelors in Accounting on Dec 17th! I jumped right in to the Masters January 2012 and will be done December 2013. Very exciting stuff! I also starting working full time in the Accounting field.

With grad school in full swing and working 40 hours/week, I am challenged with finding time to do anything that is not school or work. That includes sleeping. Since starting school, my weight has sneaked up by almost 10 lbs - eek! Most of the 10 can be blamed on fertility drugs, but that is one me now - the drugs stopped 4 months ago. And no - not successful and that is OK. Exercise is non-existent - sigh. So after a big break - the longest I have ever encountered since 2007 - I am back on SP, working to regain some health sanity in my life.

My stated goal weight according to my doc is 135. For me it is give or take that. The # really means little to me. I enjoy feeling better and stronger. Well, and shopping for easier to find, smaller clothes.




My Program:
Hitting 1300 to 1500 calories per day on a clean diet

Fitness:
Elliptical + strength training 3X week
Yoga Class 2X week



Personal Information:
2010 - we have moved back to Corpus Christi.

Have the "best-est" husband and another awesome dog (see picture of old dog and new dog.)

We love to travel and adventure.

Other Information:
As for goals and rewards along the way, I am really motivated by the improvements:
