Here's To A Smaller Me...
I am a 35 year old, mother of 2. I was in a car accident 2 years ago and have found that due to my inactivity, my already overweight frame has continued to increase and it's time for a cognizant change. I want to look better, I want to feel better and I want to be a good example for my children.

My Goals:
A few goals I have made for myself for these are: #1 Make sure I drink those 8 glasses of water daily #2 Follow the 12 week intermediate walking program #3 Focus on only eating complex carbs. #4 Walk at least 15 minutes a day.
My Program:
We drink a lot of water in our house so we got a water dispenser...it's easy & convenient. Since I am quite limited as to how I can exercise due to my cervical spine injury my friend suggested getting a step stool. I find "stepping" an EXTREMELY easy and convenient form of exercise! I got a treadmill which I really enjoy...I shoot for an hour a day, 5 days a week. I also got a really great video called Dance Yourself Thin which is fun to do in 10 minute routines. I joined "Walking Off The Weight" group so I will be pushing myself to meet the challenges posted.
Other Information:
I'm really disappointed to see that I've been a member for a year and have done virtually nothing...I really need to make my weight loss a priority this year.
