One day at a time

Its time for me to beat the yo-yo dieting, emotional eating roller coaster that I've been on for too many years! I want to get to a comfortable weight where I feel good; and discover more ways to eat the wonderful GOOD food that is out there. I'm taking it one day at a time.

My Goals:
I've been a member since July 2009 but did not get active in Spark People until September 2010 and I LOVE IT!

My goals are:

* To lose 65 lbs
* To cut down on carbs and eat more protein
* Be a good example to my kids
* To feel GREAT inside and out!!!!




My Program:
Overeaters Anonymous

I'm counting calories - keeping it between 1200-1500/day. For exercise I am alternating weight /strength training and walking outside or DVDs with Leslie Sansone.

Personal Information:
I'm a stress / emotional eater and this has been my hugest obstacle as well as COOKIES!

I enjoy walking, hiking, bird watching, reading and photography. I'm also a figure skater mom and basketball mom, nothing brings me more joy than to cheer my kids on in their sports.

Other Information:
I have probably tried every diet that is out there. I realize that I have to change my life style, eating, and excerise habits for good. This is a lifelong journey. I want to feel and look good inside and out.
