I own my own preschool/homeschool/childcare in my home, and the kids keep me busy. I have been doing this since 1982, and I STILL love it. I also love my husband, my adult son, and my jack russell terrier. I also love Apple computers and photography. I have a good life.
MAIN GOAL - to lose weight and gain health and strength
FIRST GOAL - lose 30pounds
NEXT GOAL - to weigh under 200 pounds
I have created a method/recipe for homemade soup with lots of veggies in it (meat, beans and spices, too, but mostly veggies) that I make in bulk and then freeze in single serving containers. THAT has become our fast food, instead of Carl's Jr.
The "rule" is that if one of us doesn't feel like cooking a healthy meal, then we will eat a box of soup rather than go out to eat. We usually eat soup for at least one, if not two meals a day.
I have also developed some pretty good "green" protein smoothies, with LOTS of veggies, protein powder, antioxidant fruits and nuts in them.
I try to do SOME form of exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, 6 days a week.
I call it SOUP, SMOOTHIES and SWEAT. So far I've lost 30.4 pounds on this program.
