My Goals:
Daily Goals:

Drink more water!

Get at least 7 hrs sleep!

Eat more healthy foods, but no food is off limits in moderation!

Aerobic exercise at least 30 mins every day - Walking on my breaks and 1/2 of my lunch hour adds up to an hour a day! (Done! 7/3/2014)

Weekly Goal:
Strength Training at least 3 times per week.

Short term:
Get under 200 lbs!
(Done! 3/16/14)

Next Goal - 195 lbs!

Long-term:
135 lbs, strong and healthy!

(My top weight was 230 lbs in March, 2011)

My Program:
It's not enough just eat healthy or to exercise regularly, to lose a significant amount of weight, you have to do BOTH consistently!

Personal Information:
I'm a divorced mom with one son who's going to FSU right now to get a degree in Chemistry! I musta done something right.

Now that's he's trying his wings and preparing to leave the nest it's time to focus on me again and figure out what this next part of my journey will entail. I know I will be happier and healthier when I lose weight so that's just what I'm doing.

I work on a computer all day long and then when I get home I write, again on a computer, so sitting all day is not helping. I like breaking my hour of daily walking up to get my blood flowing instead of sitting for hours at a time without moving. It seems to be helping. I'll add more intense exercise as I get fitter, but for now I'm content with my journey so far.

Happy Wednesday! I hope you've been having a great week so far. I just wanted to wish you a very healthy Thanksgiving and to remind you to stay strong in the face of all temptation there is bound to be. Focus on your loved ones and everything you have to be thankful for, and not just the food. If you over indulge, just get back on track on Friday! Remember, its only a holiDAY, and not a holiWEEK. There are 34 days until New Years Day, so we still have plenty of time to make progress!

GHIRARDELLI HAS 60% CACAO--- AND 75 %CACAO--CHOCOLATE CHIPS.
LARGER THAN HERSHEY AND 5 CALORIES PER CHIP SO IT IS EASY TO TRACK.
THE BANANAS I USE ARE SMALL AND WHEN I COOK THEM THEY ARE MICROWAVE I MINUTE ON 40% POWER.

YOU CAN GO TO THE WEB SEARCH IN THE TRACKER AND ASK FOR A LIST OF "HIGH POTASSIUM FOODS". IT WILL BE THERE. I LOVE BEING ABLE TO FIND THOSE NUTRIENT LISTS WITH OUT GOING TO THE OTHER SITES THAT ARE ADVERTISING OTHER THINGS.
I JUST WANT A DEFINITE LIST AND IT WORKS FOR ME.
