Getting Thin in 2010
Welcome, I hope than we can help each other reach our healthy goals and keep our eyes on the prize. "Being thin in 2010" is just a phrase I thought was kind of catchy. My goal really isn't "thin". I would like to be a healthy weight, with a healthy diet and get a healthy amount of exercise. Nothing extreme, don't want go on any radical diet, excercise 8 hours a day or drive my friends and family crazy with my healthy choices. I have seen myself as having weight issues ...
Welcome, I hope than we can help each other reach our healthy goals and keep our eyes on the prize. "Being thin in 2010" is just a phrase I thought was kind of catchy. My goal really isn't "thin". I would like to be a healthy weight, with a healthy diet and get a healthy amount of exercise. Nothing extreme, don't want go on any radical diet, excercise 8 hours a day or drive my friends and family crazy with my healthy choices. I have seen myself as having weight issues since I was a child. However, now when I look at pictures I realize that my perceptions were not so, and I really didn't have weight issues until after having babies. I did lose down to a good weight several years ago buthgeave been ebbing up every since. January 31, 2009 I joined Sp and lost 35 lbs at one point. In June I had a little accident and broke my arm, rib and a little bone in my hand prohibiting exercise for a couple months, then I just never was able to regain my momentum for some reason. I stayed active in SP but continued to struggle, this fall I have had strep throat, swine flu and now bronchitus. So, while I don't like excuses I have had a few health obstacles to overcome this year, so I am thankful for the weight I did lose. Now, I am preparing for 2010 and when I am recovered enough to exercise again. I joined the bootcamp that starts 1/3/10, have the new Sparks book, bought a new crockpot to prepare healthy meals while I am at work, got 2 new wii games and a new cd for my ipod execise playlist, and am excited to start again in 2010. Hope you are in for the long haul with me, let's have fun and enjoy our journey as we learn from each other what works and what doesn't in this healthier way of living.

My Goals:
I want to be healthy and strong, to be a good steward with this body. More specifically I will acheive my goals to: 1. Fit comfortably in my new uniform shirts! 2.Never have to buy "plus" size clothes again. 3. Keep my blood pressure under control w/o medication. 4. Where the cute high heels I have without all the pain. 5. So I can have more fun with more energy and strength.
My Program:
I AM TRYING TO BE HEALTHIER BY REDUCING THOSE CALORIES AND INCREASING THE EXERCISE, MY HUSBAND SAYS "YA GOTTA PAY THE RENT", HE IS RIGHT, OF COURSE!
Personal Information:
I WAS BORN AND HAVE SPENT MOST OF MY LIFE IN THE SUBURBS OF ST. LOUIS, MO. MOST OF OUR FAMILY ON MY SIDE AND OUR CHILDREN LIVE IN THE AREA AS WELL. MY HUSBANDS SIDE OF THE FAMILY AND MY PARTNER IN THIS IN MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY , LIVE IN SOUTHWEST INDIANNA.
Other Information:
MY HUSBAND AND I ARE HAVING A BLAST WORKING OUT ON THE WII FIT, I REALLY HAVE FUN AND WORK UP A SWEAT AT THE SAME TIME, NEVER DREAMED I WOULD BE PLAYING ELECTRONIC GAMES AGAIN.
