My goal is to whittle back to my little old self.
I have been as small as a size 0 and that was years after having 2 children. I have my divorce to thank for that. I hit 30-60 minutes a day on the elliptical and toned like crazy..... that was 2003, this is now. I have always eaten healthy, I just have had to cut back on my intake. I used to be able to eat like a bear and not gain a pound. Now I'm in my early 40s and my metabolism is not the same. I've opted for a low carb lifestyle and I know moderation and consistency is the key to hitting my goal. SparkPeople helps me keep it in perspective.

My Goals:
My goal is to get my body fat percent down to 19%. It's not all about what size I wear but more about how tone and healthy I feel. It would be nice to feel confident in a bikini as well. Though my stretch marks may make that impossible.


My Program:
20-30 minutes of cardio a day. Alternating days of toning with a focus on my core and large muscle groups. Using the Bootcamp videos on Spark to vary my workout.



Personal Information:
I am a single mother two teenagers. Work keeps me busy and both home and work challenge my need for balance. I have fluctuated from a size 0 to a size 6. My weight has gone from 125 to 160. My weight struggles hit hard when I hit 30. I have had a 25 pound range, back and forth, over the past 3 years. I don't expect to be a size 2 or under 130. I just want to keep it level and active.


Other Information:
Though I still struggle with my weight, I am at the stage of helping others. I have been at the beginning...more times than I would like...but I know SparkPeople works. It truly is what you make it, no one here is telling you what to do. They are just giving you the tools to succeed at whatever your goal is.
