RESET!!

That's what I need ... hitting the reset button!! There are many things in my life that are weighing me down. The person I was a few years ago is quite different in some ways than the person I am today. Some of the years of living unhealthy caught up with me and I started experiencing some negative health consequences. Being in my early 50's, facing menopause I am aware that if I want to age well, I need to take care of this excess weight. OKAY, so that is wrong .... I need to take care of ...
That's what I need ... hitting the reset button!! There are many things in my life that are weighing me down. The person I was a few years ago is quite different in some ways than the person I am today. Some of the years of living unhealthy caught up with me and I started experiencing some negative health consequences. Being in my early 50's, facing menopause I am aware that if I want to age well, I need to take care of this excess weight. OKAY, so that is wrong .... I need to take care of me and in so doing I will take care of these extra pounds.

I need to rethink the relationship I have with food. Although I turn to it to meet a variety of emotional needs, it has done a pretty poor job of taking care of me. I am so much better with staying active than staying out of the kitchen.

Following WW program (restarted last week),
2 gym workouts/weight training and cardio each week, 2 Pilates sessions each week, at least one yoga class each week and cardio cardio cardio on my treadmill at home.

A short-term goal sounds like a GREAT idea. You know what's been really hard for me lately...doing any strength training. I'd love to have a buddy challenge that involves doing 15-20 crunches a day and/or lifting arm weights or something like that. What do you think?
