Creating a bigger life through a smaller body

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

My sparkjourney has been full of great highs and stunning lows. I lost 113lbs and experienced how amazing I feel when I'm living a healthy life. Then I returned to work full-time for the first time in a decade... and all those healthy habits seemed to slip away. I've regained 32 lbs since last January and I feel every pound times two.

I am determined to get back to that healthy lifestyle. I'm recognizing that I'm going to have to learn how to balance work and health if I want to reach my goals. Managing stress is high on my priority list.

I've signed up for the Fall into Fitness challenge with my Sunny Gals! I'm committed to contributing to my team through the weekly challenges and supporting my team mates.

Go Sunnies!!!!!

Mark Lauren's Body Weight program for strength training.

Walk my dog everyday, incorporating polymetrics with dog training.

No matter how slow you run, it is still faster than someone sitting on a couch. Joe Kelly

For my Sunny Gals:

What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. These are but trifles, to be sure; but, scattered along life's pathway, the good they do is inconceivable. —Joseph Addison

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and follow where they lead. —Louisa May Alcott

True friendship brings sunshine to the shade, and shade to the sunshine.

Yes, first time baking banana bread, lol! I actually used eggs whites and 2 bananas instead of whole eggs and oil. It was a "bread mix" so that's all I needed to add. I'm not much of a baker. It was really good, and I'm really glad I didn't have to eat those gross, over ripe bananas plain.
