Hello, my name is Temika and I am a 33yr old recovering Hot 'N' ready junkie, lol. I joined this site before but I deleted my acct because I didn't know where to start. I joined again because I needed to track my calories accurately. I have found this site to be very helpful in tracking my daily progress.
I want to go from 201-135lbs. That is my high school weight. a lot of people say that's too small, but for my height it is medically right. Plus I felt better and looked good if I may add. That's another reason I'm happy to be on this site, because instead of people telling what I shouldn't do, there are people here encouraging me.
I am married, I have a 9 year old daughter, a 7 year old son, and I'm raising my 16yr old sister since she was 3.
I know that in order to achieve any goals in life, you must have a big reason why. That way, when you're not motivated anymore, you can lean on your reason for starting.
The reason I want to get down to 135lbs is because it is my ideal weight, but I also want to look and feel good in my clothes, let alone without. I don't have low self esteem, but I want to feel pretty. You can know your are pretty but don't feel it. I want to be healthy so I won't end up with a health disease. I want to feel comfortable in my body when I walk around or sit down instead of this heavy load that I carry around. And I want to inspire others to let them know they can do it because I did it. I like helping other people.

My Goals:
My immediate goal is to look good for my husband family reunion July 2011

1. To wear a size 7/8 2. For my body to look like it did in high school again.
3. To be able to run a mile without stopping.
4. To have a healthy sleeping, nutrition, and fitness lifestyle.
5. To be a help and encouragement to other women struggling with weight and self-esteem issues.

My Program:
-I use some of the Flat Belly Diet for meals.
-I also choose other healthy choices with lower calories and eat them in small portions.
-I do cardio 5 days a week Mon-Fri. I do strength training 3 days a week.
-I make sure I drink 64oz of H2O a day. I also tell my friends about my progress and try to help other people with their goals at the same time.

-I believe you can do anything that you put your mind to
-I'm married with 2 younger kids
-I'm very active in my church (youth leader, church nurse (not certified), and a Youth Sunday School teacher.
-I love to write poetry, listen to jazz, deorating and watching love comedies
