Thank you for your comments on my blog! You should get out and try it! Even if you don't want to run, a good long walk always helps to clear the mind, or in my case, flush it from overthinking- which I tend to do a lot. 2610 days ago
*Laughs* My Mardi Gras was ... interesting.
It started off fairly low-key with a parade along Frenchmen, spent some time chatting with cool tourists, generally unwinding from launching Second Helping, moving to New Orleans, and trying to get things accomplished during Mardi Gras all at the same time. I can get wild and crazy once I'm more settled.
Then I get locked out of my house, befriend this cute hetero couple and wind up spending the night with them (mind out of the gutter, they were locked out too). I gave them a lift to the train station at 6 a.m.
So not a conventional Mardi Gras, but perfect in its imperfection, heh.
And for the record, I loved Mark's family. I'm all for it!
