I am a Christian and my priority is to live my life as God wants me to. When God is in control everything will work out. My family is very important to me. I have several health issues, but choose not to let them control my life any more than necessary. I need to lose about 10 lbs to get back to a healthy weight. My highest weight was about 185 lbs. I lost the ability to walk and the lbs. packed on. With WW, lots of determination I lost 45 lbs. Since than I have really had to work on keeping it off. With thyroid issues it makes it harder, but I know it can be done. I like getting to know people of all ages. Everyone has something to offer. I collect cherished teddies and like teddy bears in general.
My goal is to lose 1-2 lbs a month. It doesn't come off very fast, because of thyroid issues, but I won't give up.
Counting calories and eating a healthy diet which for me includes a GF diet. I am working with a friend from sparks on tracking our nutrition.

I hope your Thanksgiving was blessed. We had a good day. Praying for you in this season. Be at peace with the best you can do and be. It will make for happier, more joy-filled and peaceful days with better memories. HUGS, Darlene
Hi, Donna. I heard about your auto accident yesterday from a FBC member at Walmart. I am so sorry and so glad to hear you are on the mend. You continue to be in my prayers!
I give thanks to God, the Father, for you as I pray for you today. May you know by experience God’s grace, spiritual favor and BLESSing today and every day, having heart peace from God the Eternal Father – that peaceful state of trust in Him to which He calls us; that soul harmony with Him that umpires life choices, heart desires, and questions of the mind. May He settle us with faith to trust Him. Have a BLESSed Thanksgiving, rested in Father. Loving you in Christ, Darlene.
Worry over the future breeds anxiety. Fretting over the past breeds depression. Both can stop our good movement forward and put us in front of the TV with a bad movie and too much of the stuff we don’t need to put into our bodies. That horrid cycle, of course, breeds regret and dread that brings us to more of the same. I believe that is called “insanity”.
Instead work to stay in the present taking the next step needed for living to the full the “now” that is before you, having learned better ways from past experience and pushing forward with hope that right action now will produce a better tomorrow. This is living life with power that produces a good outcome and protects our journey from wasting away.
Plan for the future, yes; but let the first plan be to live your best you in the now you have to possess.
