Getting back on Track (again LOL) always determined, this time I'm just doing it , I am not depending on anyone else, not telling anyone except Spark People-- just going to make wise choices and remember that I NEED to track my food every day, good or bad....
June 2014 diagnosed as Type 2 diabetic. Thankfully Sparkpeople has tracking for this!! Saw a nutritionist & dietician and updated my Sparkpeople tracking to diabetic. Been doing ok on it -- lost quite a few pounds and trying to keep my blood sugar level. My starting A1C was 8.9, got it down to 7.3 -next check up in September.....
August 2014 Down 17 pounds since June/being diagnosed as diabetic. Hit a bit of a plateau and realized I had slacked off a bit on the portion control/measuring -- back to it with a vengeance! Hopefully will notice a change this week or next.....

Eating right, tracking food, reading labels...
making wise choices both when grocery shopping and eating out.

    A Special Light
    emoticon
Imagine shining a bright spotlight on the path of years ahead of you. Look at the first few steps that will lead you onto that path. Now shine your light all the way to the horizon.

When you view the journey ahead, do you feel confidence or uncertainty? Is the road clear, or are there road blocks that need to be removed? How can you maintain the faith needed to travel all the way to the horizon and beyond?

Our values add energy to our lives and help to maintain a clear vision. Without awareness of the values upon which we base our actions, we can easily fall prey to discouragement and negativity.

It is important to know our core values. When our actions compliment our values, we feel confident and act authentically. We bring out the best within us.

Are you prepared to give your very best self to the journey of your dreams? If so, then let the journey begin. Life responds to one thing - action.

The excellence within you is waiting to shine. Share your special light with the world today, and the world will reflect that light back to you!
