The Journey Begins!!
I'm looking forward to sharing the goals and the journey with my fellow Sparkies. I have spent most of my life right along the line between healthy and underweight. hehe, now I'm not. So now I'm at around 82kg's (178 pounds for all you American Sparkies) and feeling low on self confidence and just all round BLAH!! My goal weight is 57kg's (125 pounds) which is slightly higher than what I was in 2004. I think that is a good weight to aim for as I have also put on a ...
I'm looking forward to sharing the goals and the journey with my fellow Sparkies. I have spent most of my life right along the line between healthy and underweight. hehe, now I'm not. So now I'm at around 82kg's (178 pounds for all you American Sparkies) and feeling low on self confidence and just all round BLAH!! My goal weight is 57kg's (125 pounds) which is slightly higher than what I was in 2004. I think that is a good weight to aim for as I have also put on a fair bit of muscle mass from playing sports in the last 4 years. I plan to assess how I look and feel when I reach 57kg's and then go from there. I enjoy exercise, sports and working out but struggle with preparing healthy foods, especially for work in the morning. I tend to be a bit fuzzy and rushed in the morning so preparing food the night before is a mini goal on my journey to reaching healthy weight again. I believe we can all make changes and I believe that I personally am able to make and sustain the changes needed to achieve my goals. In this and many other areas of my life.

My Goals:
1. Reach 57kg's Specifics: Start Weight - 84kg (01 JAN 2013) 79kg - 74kg - quarter of the way 69kg - half way! 64kg - 59kg- 57kg - Goal! 2. Get a body like Pinks! (lol - that would be nice!) 3. Reduce/Eliminate alcohol consumption until i reach goal weight 4. Develop better cooking and preparation habits - improving Running Goals: i) Run 5K Fun Run 2013 Goals: - do 5 chin ups in a row - 10 full push ups - run a 5k or 6k Achieved Goals: - Learn to jog for a half hour non stop - achieved! -be able to do a box jump (I have a box jump phobia!)
My Program:
Walking every morning before work (or Yoga if its raining) Group classes twice per week. Couch to 5k 3 times per week
Personal Information:
I enjoy being fit and healthy and would like to go back to feeling confident.
Other Information:
I love reading. Especially sci fi.
