No More Excuses

This past summer, I started this weight loss journey again. Curiously, I haven't felt like I was on a "diet." This time, it's more of a realization that I haven't been treating my health as the gift it truly is. Now, I stop and think before reaching for every brownie, rib, hamburger, or fry. I ask myself, "Is this something that I really need? Should one, two, three, etc. moments of taste be more valuable than a long healthy life?" I think not!! I'm no longer just dieting to be skinny. Hi! Are you back at school yet? I just have one more week of in-service plus next Thursday night is "Meet the Teacher" night. Then we start that next Monday. My room's pretty much ready, but there a LOT of changes this year - I'm not a quick adapter to change. LOL!

I really only did the whole intro thing twice and realized I need to be... a little more fit? A little more patient because I am so uncoordinated? At least in my mind that's how I saw it. They used to have a short 6 minute Zumba piece on ExerciseTV that Beto led - I tried it and I didn't do too badly!

Going forward, I don't know that I will spend as much time trying to learn the steps in the intro - I think I might just dive right into the class!

Since so many people on here love it so much, I am not going to get rid of it at all and I am definitely going to incorporate it in my workout schedule, but not yet!
