I am a 29 yr old stay-at-home mother of 4 (2 bio and 2 step). All 4 of the kids keep me busy, but not enough to stay in shape. My youngest child was born March of 2009.

I have a wonderful and supportive husband (JONDECKER76). He has already completed two rounds of P90x. I started with him, but had to stop due to medical problems. He had amazing results. I will be doing workouts at my own pace and schedule. I figured out that following a DVD just irritates me.

I don't expect to look like I did when I was 16 yrs old, but I would like to be physically fit and healthy. I am approaching my 30's, and I already have joint pain in my one right knee.

My husband pointed out to me that my 30's will be extra rough on me if I don't do something about it now. Once he said that, I realized he was right.

I am hoping that since my husband is so supportive and my desire to get fit is growing each day, I will be more energetic and able to reach my goals. My husband and I have been going to the local gym 5 days a week and we are LOVING it!!! :)

Tracey - I'm just checking in on all my SP friends to see what their goals were for 2010! Sometimes for me, just knowing that people are checking in on me keeps me motivated to keep moving.

My goals are about the same as last year, to run a few 5k's, lose 1 - 2 pounds a week, and move a whole lot more...probably as I go along, I'll get more specific with my activity goals, but for now, I am mostly running and I did sign up for the Spark People boot camp for the month of January. It helped boost me when I did it in January of last year.

I hope life is good for you and you continue that spark!
