A new SP member, I 've been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Looking for new ways to lose weight and stick with it. I'm a single mother of two sons, ages 10 and 12. Work full-time and go to school full-time, trying to get my Masters in Nursing.

My Goals:
To lose between 50 and 100 lbs.

To run at least 10 miles a week.

Drink 8 glassses of water daily

Cardio exercises 3 times a week

My Program:
I'm getting the 8 glasses of water daily with the help of Crystal Light.

I do the cardio Friday, Saturday and Sunday 's.

My first week, I ran 1 mile, it took some time 25 mins., but I did it!!!!

We all get in a slump. And the reason that you are sleeping late may be you are just tired. Being a mother is no easy task. So don't be hard on yourself. Hug yourself and tell yourself that you will do better. emoticon emoticon

Thanks for responding to by blog. I have no thyroid and rely on a pill to regulate my body. It is difficult but I know you can do it. You have a lot of irons in the fire. Just take at least 5 minutes in the morning and just breath. It sounds weird but as a woman we do so many things for other people and rarely take care of ourselves. Remember you are important. You are the most important person in your children's life emoticon emoticon
