A Healthier Life

I'm 62 and learning all about chair exercises when I can't easily move around. My goal is to rid my body of the 60 pounds of excess weight I have been battling off and on for the past 25 yrs. I had a severe form of endometriosis 25 yrs ago and at that time was of a normal weight and then was placed on a nasty drug called Megace. I'm 62 and learning all about chair exercises when I can't easily move around. My goal is to rid my body of the 60 pounds of excess weight I have been battling off and on for the past 25 yrs. I had a severe form of endometriosis 25 yrs ago and at that time was of a normal weight and then was placed on a nasty drug called Megace. Within 6 months my weight had ballooned up as I was hungry and craving foods. Since that time have ended up in bad patterns of yo-yo dieting and not being able to keep it off. Fortunately no longer on the drug. I ended up with back surgery at the same time all of that was happening so have had on-going issues with the back. Anyway, I want to focus my energy now on my goals. I have some favorites of smaller sizes and I love cute clothes! At present I am feeling much better and am taking a stretching class on Thursdays and there is a place opening a community pool so will be checking to see if water aerobics will be offered.

Well, I don't remember who posted information on how to create one's own page, but I appreciate the help! This is basic and is work in progress, that's for sure! Now, I just need to remember to log on each day. I also struggle with the food log because I may know what it is I am preparing to eat or have eaten but finding it in the log is another thing. So, before the clock strikes midnight, I am signing off. emoticon
