Getting back on the road to being fit...

I am a 42 year old mother of three who is not in cardiovascular shape at all. I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but I do have a long road ahead of me if I want to be able to be active with my kids and not have to take a break every 10-15 minutes.
Both of my pregnancies lead to bed rest and surgery after my second pregnancy lead to more bed rest. During those years I lost a lot on the cardiovascular endurance and just haven't been able to get it back.

I am Paleo for the most part as far as eating, so that is not really my problem, but I need to get out there and exercise on a regular basis.
I have a friend who is going to start this journey as well, but I think we all need a lot of people in our lives whether near or far away to help to motivate each other to a healthier new us...

No matter how fast we're going we are still lapping those sitting on their couch...

My Goals:
To be able to put on a bikini at 39 and say woohoo you did it! To make a life changing edit to my current lifestyle and live a healthy life for my family!

My Program:
I am exercising at least 3 times a week and monitoring the food I eat as well as trying to drink plenty of water, something I still haven't quite mastered.

Personal Information:
My friends and hubby are big inspirations for me... we're all in this together, and if one of us has a bad week, another of us is there to pick that person up and let them know that they can do it!

Other Information:
Don't ever say that you can't... with hard work we all can!

Hi Tracie, how are you doing? Have you managed to get yourself back on track? It took a while but I am now over the half term blues and back on track for the next 5 weeks or so before I am off on holiday.

Welcome back! Did you really only put on 4lbs since April? If so, I'm sooooo jealous and CONGRATULATIONS. I would have put on so much more if I'd gone away for 6 months without checking in. I'm losing VERY slowly but it hasn't crept back up so I'm happy.

Thanks for your comment on my challenge blog. I'm doing soooo bad on my challenge and I created it! I haven't logged my food and my exercise is not there this week as it is half term and it was DS's birthday yesterday. I will get back on track in the next couple of days.

Yoo hoo Tracie! Great to hear from you! Any news? None here. I'm just recovering from a night of debauchery (it's a bank holiday weekend here and Cork has a jazz festival every October holiday weekend). So, I'm feeling a little delicate at the moment.
