Hello Folks,
I have lots of health challenges, plus spinal deterioration, so walking is out for me. I'm a 57 years old. I was over 300 lbs and a size 4X at one time. I've lost down to a 2 X and I about 245 lbs now, that is some progress. I have not lost or gained in 1.5 years. Since we moved back home to AR summer of 2006 on 7 acres of hilly rocky soil with a natural spring creek.

We have 10 goats, 25 chickens, 1 mini donkey, 4 dogs and 7 cats. I feel that I'm ...

I feel that I'm leaving somebody out. Oh Yes, My husband, Lonnie, who is 67 years old. we got our first goats in sept 2004. That sounded wrong. He is not one of the critters. He feeds everybody.

I'm am currently milking 2 little goats 2 times a day for about 3 cups of milk for my kefir and coffee. It taste better than store bought and doesn't choke me up. Molly in the picture is one that I'm milking.

The picture of the goat, with the chicken on her back is Molly, she is a kinder, goat. A kinder is a Nubian/ pygmy goat mix. Just one of the things we didn't know when she was given to us 3 years ago. Jan. 04.

Have fun loosing weight and gaining muscle. Remember that muscle weights more than fat. And sometimes when you start a new program with exercise you are adding muscles so use your tape measure too. Now where did I put my tape measure?

The picture of the Charlotte is the Donkey and she is checking to see if I have any treats. The bag on my hip holds my oxygen tank. Charlotte, belongs to Mary Stille who is a goat book author. She wrote a great book for people to read before they get their first goat. Can I add her website? Maybe later.

The kittens were all rescued kittens that were on their way to the animal shelter, this fall. We have 3 older cats. Don't have any horses, cows or pigs. We do have some hoot owls that visit.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Still have all the cats, owls have not been around in a while.
