Hi My name is Taura and I am here to get to a healthy weight and in so doing, I can prayerfully heal the rest of the obesity related ailment that I have as well. My highest weight was 428 ponds, I am 4'11'' tall. I am a very proud and active Christian who's main priority is being obedient to God 1st, foremost and always and to lose ALL of this excess weight (250lbs). I know that this will be an uphill climb, and I know it's going to take time, patience, and a whole lot of effort, but I know I can do it!

I also have type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and a whole assortment of a lot of other stuff related to being extremely obese. I've also found that being totally honest with yourself about your food addictions/food intake, the things that trigger you to overeat, your mental state of mind, your genetics, etc., all play some key roles in your weight loss/getting healthy process. So we have to get it all in order to be successful at succeeding.

My dietician referred me to this site and I love it and I love her! I look forward to meeting new people and helping to be a good support system for them as I am also looking for a support system as well. I bid to everyone all the blessings that our Heavenly Father desires for us to partake in/of and may we all be successful in this endeavor together.

I am fairly new here so I hope you'll bare with me in getting my page properly prepared for interacting with you all, and please feel free to visit anytime. All of you are welcomed here.

My Goals:
My baby steps to achieve my goals are...
(1) get a meal plan that works right now and tweak as needed.
(2)track every bite of food I take in and make adjustments as needed.
(3) 2 minutes of proper stretching b4 exercising, 15mins cardio, 10 mins of strength training, 3 mins of cool down stretching.

My Program:
Quick overview of my daily plan is to consult with my dietician weekly and tweak meal plan, meds, and exercise plan until we find what really works and log all food I eat no matter how bad or indifferent they food proves to be. I am doing much research to find out how my body actually works in regard to my mental hlth, my exercise regime and whatever else that comes to mind to look into. I just need to see results no matter how big or how small they may be and I need to honor those times with working harder for better pay offs but I need to find what actually works for me and work it!

Personal Information:
I am currently in La Crosse, WI were I've lived for 12 yrs. I have a 29 year old married son and 1 adorable granddaughter, Danika who are the pride of my life! I also have a husband of whom I am totally and happily married to in the Spirit. and most important of all to me is my continually maturing in my walk with Christ who is now and will forever be MY EVERYTHING!

Other Information:
I would like to tell people that my whole purpose for living is to exercise total obedience to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, that His will, not my will be done according to His purpose, And prayerfully I can connect with other who are on that same path as well.
