Eh, I haven't decided how often I want to weigh-in. I just want to go through a month without seeing the scale. I'm also doing somewhat of a cleanse -- with pills and also a bit with diet. I am really trying to limit the amount of sugar I have this month, as well as eliminating coffee (I was having it almost daily the past few month) and alcohol. In addition, the bf and I are trying not to eat out as often. I am really trying to keep it at one meal out a week. I have been feeling physically better with these diet changes and the cleansing pills. I know I won't be able to keep it up forever (I miss my coffee and chocolate), but I want to be able to have certain treats in moderation and not daily.
I used to get really stressed out when I was counting calories (which lead to the obsessiveness), which I think hurt more than helped. I've noticed that since I've just been trying to eat better while not counting calories I haven't really been stressing too bad. I have been having a lot of peanut/almond butter and jam sandwiches lately (not the greatest in calories), but I've also noticed that I haven't been needing to have as many snacks throughout the day. Hmmm...we'll see what the scale says at the end of the month. 1936 days ago
we sometimes go to Crisper's, Aberjoni's (?), places at the Lakeside Village (for convenience of those who use the Polk Parkway). Do you have any other suggestions? To help keep the spouses of the members included, we try and let them choose where we go next. It also shows us that we can go to basically any restaraunt and choose "healthy" food! It's kind of like a "test"....and yes, sometimes we fail....then we get up and go again!
Our team dinner is THIS Thursday, January 12th @ 6:00 pm. It will be at the Ruby Tuesday on South Florida Ave. It is just north of the Polk Parkway.
