Recovering from setbacks

I lost over 100 pounds a few years ago, going from 255 at my highest to one brief, shining moment at 133. I slowly gained back from their over a couple years to the mid 140s, hindered by shoulder problems, and then on Sep 12 2012 I had rotator cuff surgery and things have spiraled out of control from there and I have gained back to 160. I am beside myself, it sucks so much. I don't sleep well, my arm hurts all the time, and I can't do any of the exercise that I enjoyed doing. I have no desire ...

I am beside myself, it sucks so much. I don't sleep well, my arm hurts all the time, and I can't do any of the exercise that I enjoyed doing. I have no desire to do anything except eat eat eat. I need to regain control and re-lose the weight I've regained.

I was SO CLOSE at my lowest weight, and I'm hoping that because I've maintained most of my loss and the regain has been fairly slow, that I won't have to lose as much weight to reach my goals. My goal of 127 is an ABSOLUTE MINIMUM that I doubt I'll need to reach to be happy, and I'm sure hoping the real number will be higher.

My Goals:
A couple years ago I got down to 133lb, and was almost at my goal, probably less than 5lb away. My current goal is to get back to where I was (physically, not the number) and then keep going that last bit until I am happy!

I guess the unofficial marker of my success would be the skirt I bought in Japan, which fits a 27-29" waist. I got down to 30", so see how close I was?

My Program:
Exercise regularly to maintain good health and fitness and stop eating all the extra food that causes me to gain weight?

Really, it's not so complicated.
