Here is my story: High school and college athlete and was very fit and in good shape. Was active until after college when I moved out of my parent's house and into my first apartment. Started going out, drinking, and then eating afterwards. Basically doing the fund thing that most people in their 20's did. I met my husband in 1988 and we were married in 1990. May of 2010 will be our 20th wedding anniversary. My weight was not too bad -- maybe 25 pounds overweight. I was decent until about 6 months before I got pregnant with my daughter in 1998. I have now gained so much weight that I don't recognize myself anymore. I don't think I look like I do until I see a picture of me or my reflection in a mirror. I'm almost taken back when I realize that I do look like that. I'm tired of turning down parties or events because of how I look and feel. SP has already started to change my life for the better. I didn't realize that I could have so many people who would support me and especially people I didn't even know that well. I can't wait to get to know all of you even better. I'm here for anyone of you as well. I think it's different getting real support from people who understand what we're going through. I have a 28-year reunion on June 27, 2010 and I really want to go. I'm afraid I will waste time and not complete my goals and then turn down going again because of this stupid weight. I want to get down to a decent weight so I can live my life again and stop saying no to functions. I welcome any and all tips, motivations, touch love, etc. from all of you. I need help and I need to be held accountable.

Lose a total of 90 pounds by 6-27-10.


Unfreeze gym membership by 1-1-10.


My Program:
My program will consist of tracking all foods eaten, all water drank, & all exercise done. I will be counting calories & staying between 1,300-1,400 per day. I will drink 8-10 glasses of water per day & try to start cooking & eating healthy.



Personal Information:
I'm from California and am 45 years old. I graduated high school in 1982 & just loved the 80's, especially the music, clothes, & hair. I've been married for almost 19 years & have 1 daughter, Jamie, who is turning 11 years old on December 20, 2009 & is in the 5th grade.

I own a word processing business & work for a real estate appraiser and a forensic psychiatrist as well as doing freelance work for anyone else who needs typing or transcription. In addition, I also offer resumes & cover letters, brochures, flyers, price lists, menus, newsletters, signs, charts, labels, cards, & much more. I've been self-employed now for 14 years & I love being able to be home when my daughter gets home.


Other Information:
I'm TIRED, TIRED, & TIRED of being overweight. I was such an athelete and had a great body (although I didn't know it then because of a few skinny girls who made me feel like I was fat). I just want to be healthy and like dressing up to go places again.
