Orthodox Jewess

HI I am 49 years old. I am an Orthodox Jewess and I am trying to lose 66 pounds by May 2007 as one of our best friends daughters is sgetting married and for health reasons as well. I have lost 33 pds on my own in 16 months. I have type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol,high blood pressure, hypothyroidism, IBS, diverticulitis, depression, osteoarthritis and migraine headaches. I have had many surgeries. I have a left hip replacement and I need a shoulder replacement. my biggest problem is I have no motivation to excercise as the arthritis gives me pain. I try to walk but I also have diabetic neuropathy which doesn't help. I have a recumbent excercise bike and today I did ten minutes on it hoping to build up to 30 minutes. The strenght training excercises that they give you require weights or getting on the floor. I cannot get on the floor and can only put weights in my left hand. I need someone who can motivate me but you don't have to be Jewish . I just need someone who has things in common with me thankyou Tamar

Hi!!! Welcome to the BootCamp Challenge!!! I know its hard to get thru the exercises with a bad knee, but look around and you can find specific exercises you CAN do!!! Stick with the challenge and you will do great!! Good Luck!
