Hello! It's nice to see another Jesus girl who enjoys intermittent fasting as well. Your storyis very inspiring! You have come a long way! Thank you for sharing your story and making your blog public :). 18 days ago
Thank you, Tammae, for the sweet response to my blog. When I started this diet 8 weeks ago, I did remove all sugar, so I am just beginning to think that as we get older, our bodies just want to hang on to our fat "just in case" we might need it one day ha ha!
I really enjoyed doing IF, so am very excited to employ that method again when I officially retire at the end of the month. It will be interesting to see if things change for me when I am no longer stressed out each day! Fingers crossed. 88 days ago
HI Tammae, The paleo foods they recommend work out really expensive for me, though maybe not for you (as you are in a farming area) all corn and pasture fed animal product and organic fruit and veg. I have to rely on cheapest cuts and whatever fruit and veg is on offer at the supermarket. BUT I suppose I am now on lower carbs! I am not following it 100% and don't see me staying on it, however, have cut out bread, refined sugar, most processed food and a lot of dairy except a bit of milk (for 2 weeks trial) I am only on day 3 and am going mad for cheese and bread!!!!
