Time to Take Control of My Destiny!
I have struggled with my weight for the majority of my life. I was the queen of "I'll start tomorrow", "Next time I'll eat something healthier", I'm gonna start working out Monday!" There are no more tomorrows, just today. Just the here and now! My weight has held me back for to long and I refuse to waste another day of this beautiful life God has blessed me with. I 'm 31 and married almost 2 years this March. We are looking forward to starting a family, but I have to get healthy ...
I have struggled with my weight for the majority of my life. I was the queen of "I'll start tomorrow", "Next time I'll eat something healthier", I'm gonna start working out Monday!" There are no more tomorrows, just today. Just the here and now! My weight has held me back for to long and I refuse to waste another day of this beautiful life God has blessed me with. I 'm 31 and married almost 2 years this March. We are looking forward to starting a family, but I have to get healthy before we can even try. I also have high blood pressure, so baby or not, I really need to start exercising and eating right. My wife has horrible eating habits which unfortunately have rubbed off on me. On my own I feel I have no will power or self-control, but I feel holding myself more accountable will help make me more successful! I'm hoping that Spark will help me on my journey. I've been on Spark for a while and I've learned a lot! I took about 4 months off at the end of 2011 to focus on school, but now that I've graduated, it's time to take all that I've learned and get back to work!

Goal Weight 185 sometime around July 2013
My Program:
I'm currently using a variety of workout DVDs like the BL Boot Camp and Last Chance Workout! I swear by both of them because they incorporate HIIT (high intensity interval training) with body sculpting using dumbells. I also use Tae-Bo, ZUMBA, SparkPeople Cardio Blast, and a few other DVDs for variety! As far as nutrition goes, I follow a low carb, high protein and fiber plan. I get in as many fresh fruits and veggies as I can. Plus, 8 glasses of water daily. I also take a multivitamin and calcium supplement to help round things out.
Personal Information:
I was born and raised in New Braunfels and am currently residing in San Antonio. I graduated with my BA in Communication from UTSA Dec 2010. My dream job is to be a corporate event planner and author. I hope to get to a healthy weight sometime this year so that we can get pregnant and have a safe, healthy pregnancy.
