I have many goals weight loss being one of them. I really want to make healthier choices, be more active. I know be healthier will make me live a better happier life in the long run!
I'm trying to exercise more, give up soda/caffeine, eat breakfast more often, drink water more, get plenty of sleep and other important steps to being in shape.
I'm from Cape Cod, MA but live in Keene as a student. I have people close to me that aren't in great shape and hope that I can be a good example by being healthy and getting in better shape!
Welcome Takingcontrol! Thank you for adding me as a friend! Your goal for becomming healthy is great! Unless you are a runner, training for a marathon seems like a huge feat! I trained for a 5K in college and it was hard. Set small goals - week 1 run 1 mile, week 3 run 1.5 miles. When I did mine, I also encorporated time since our group goal was to run 10 minute miles for the entire 5k.
