Hi I'm Meghan. I am focusing on eating healthier, tracking what I eat, and being in shape. I figure if I stick to that, the weight will come off naturally. Strong is the new skinny.
I also have dealt with depression for a really long time, and I'm hoping that little by little I can't start to make myself better from that.
Even though I think I'm slow, I can actually say that I'm a runner! Neat!
Weight Loss/Exercise/Health Goals:
-Get to final goal weight by end of 2013.
-Run a 5k by the end of 2011 (completed 11/24/11)
-Run at 10k by the end of 2013
-Continue improving my mental health.
-Re-starting in the middle of Couch to 5k (completed 8/5/12)
-Bridge to 10k
-Running at least 3 times a week
-Strength training and low-impact exercise on off-days
-Sometimes football with friends on Sundays

I have a deep appreciation and love for music. My favorite type of music is ska, but I also enjoy other stuff of the rock genre, dance/trance, merengue, salsa, some hip hop, some pop, and I'm not a huge country fan, but I will give all music styles a chance before judging them.
I am also an appreciator of "nerdy" things (video games, Star Wars, Star Trek, webcomics, internet memes, etc.).
