I joined SparkPeople after losing 30 pounds. I was given this site by my health coach and I think it is going to be one of the best weight loss tools I have ever used. This community will help me to overcome the plateau that we tend to hit during our attempts at losing weight. I am excited, encouraged, and motivated to be victorious and to meet and exceed the goals that were set for me when I joined this site. So lets get busy. We will help each other and shrink together.

My Goals:
I want to be healthier and have more energy. It is my desire to go from being very over weight to being in the best shape of my life. I never thought I could do it until now.


My Program:
I am watching what I eat. I have stopped going to burger places. That is going to be a treat when I do it. But I am following a much lower fat diet. I try to get in cardio everyday but it gets by me sometimes and I am doing weight training every other day. I joined a gym on 03/07/09 and I am pumped about it. I am also taking protein and my vitamins on a regular basis.



Personal Information:
I am happily married with 3 beautiful children, 3 grand children with one more on the way and a son-in-law. I am a man of faith and it is my faith that will take me to new heights in fitness that I never thought I could get to. I love my family, God and my church. I am blessed to have a job that I love getting up and going to every morning. I am in it to win and I look forward to the journey.
