I'm here, I'm here! I've been using a different tracker (calorie and exercise) lately because I've got a group of friends that are using it. Once I got an iPhone I started using the mobile SparkPeople tool instead of the computer. Then I kinda lost out on the social support that Spark offers. At any rate, this other tracker I'm using has some of those social support tools included in their mobile app.

At ANY rate. I'm here. I'm recovering from my knee surgery which was in March. I tore my ACL skiing. I'm cleared for bike riding and the elliptical machine (and walking) so I'm trying to get back into an exercise routine now. I also started a Master's program in January so, you know, I'm burning the candle at both ends these days!

I hope you are doing well. I still use the articles from Spark and do have a few people I check in on every so often...even if I'm not posting much. emoticon

Thanks so much for the "photo shoot" ...sorry to say it caught me being a couch potato! hahahaha...I needed the inspiration, so thanks!
    I love your comments of:
"You cannot stay at the summit forever, You have to come down again. So why seek in the first place?
Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One hikes, one sees.
One returns and remembers what they have seen.
When in the lower regions you are glad for what you saw when you were up there. There will be a time when your visions are dimmed but you will at least know what it was like up there. "
I just got back from the mountain top near Grand Lake, Colorado and happy to say that all is well up there, the wind is still blowing, the snow still falls and the birds are still soaring!
Now time to take the mountain top experience to work at Brookdale...hmmm.

Hi Tahosa. Thanks for your note. I like to see that you're still around and enjoyed the picture you recently posted. I am ITCHING to getting back to exercising...which is a totally different mindset than I've had in the past. Thanks for your encouragement and keep getting out there!
