56 degrees tomorrow!? Flooding?!
I have a 3rd grandson now, and I can use all the help I can get to get back on track for him, for the rest of my wonderful family, but especially for ME. Please feel free to contact me about anything at anytime. I am open to any and all suggestions, encouragement, new friends...anything to get me going.
Let's face it: I KNOW what I'm supposed to do. I KNOW what and how I'm supposed to eat, sleep, exercise and take care of myself. But I've been caring for others all my life. I've been deaf to my own needs. This has really got to change, it really does. Please help.
*Lose 100 lbs. at a healthy, steady rate
*Lose my desire for potatoes, bread, pasta,rice...they all raise my blood sugar
*Keep my blood sugars within normal range
**Walking and maybe the treadmill.
**Use recipes and helpful hints from various weight loss plans and learn how to apply to my life.
**Lo-carb, lo-salt, no seconds, no sugar, no sat fat, more sleep!
I'm Linda from IL, 65, wife, mother of 2 daughters, grandmother to 3 grandsons, retired. I love to read, to cook, to listen to music, to cheer on the White Sox. I have a HUGE collection of cookbooks and am obsessed with recipes.
I NEED an encourager, a helper, someone to care if I'm making progress! I know I cannot do this alone.
