“Having a positive mental attitude is asking how something can be done rather than saying it can't be done.” ~ Bo Bennett

I truly think a positive attitude is half the battle in weight loss. First, we need to believe that we can be successful; then, we need to believe that we DESERVE to be successful! We need to find our own personal “how” to reach our success and to keep trying until we do find it.

I made this for friends who came to lunch recently and will definitely make it again - easy, healthy, and yummy!

Low Calorie Baked Apple Crisp Recipe
Prep Time: 15 min; Cook Time: 30 min
Ingredients: 4 medium granny smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced ~1 tbsp granulated sugar ~ 2 tsp lemon juice ~ 3/4 cup rolled oats ~ 1/4 cup flour ~ 2 tbsp melted butter ~ 1 tsp ground cinnamon ~ 1/4 tsp salt ~ 1 cup fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt
Preheat the oven to 350°F. ~ Place the apples evenly in the bottom of a 11x7 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. ~ To complete the crisp, in a medium-sized bowl, combine the remaining ingredients (except frozen yogurt) and stir until the mixture resembles of course meal. Top the apples evenly with the oat mixture. ~ Bake the crisp at 350°F for 30 minutes. ~ Top each apple crisp serving with 2 tablespoons of frozen vanilla yogurt.

"Success is not measured by what you accomplish but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds." ~Orison Swett Marden

I think it’s important that we consider the fact that we are still Sparking and working toward our goals as success! We too often forget to congratulate ourselves and others for the small steps forward and tend to dwell on our faltering steps instead.

So, to all my Spark Friends:
emoticon Congratulations!
emoticon Job well done for being here today and for every postive step forward you take!
