For LiL_Frogger and others:
I joined the Lopers after hearing good things from MarathonMom26.2 who is also a friend. We both are in the Riverside group but there are plenty of active members in Loma Linda. It's a great place to ALWAYS have someone to walk or run with. And develop friendships along the way. Several of us run together in the marathons, and that helps tremendously. In fact, as a result of one of my running buddies coming along during LA, I was able to maintain my pace and hit a new P.R.!

So you belong to the Lopers? I have considered joining many times but haven't yet (not sure why). DH and I saw several Lopers running LA when we did it this last march.

Let me know what you think of the group. I need to join some sort of running group as I get very tired of running ALL my runs solo. (Plus I already have Drayson Center access.)

Congratulations on your run! 11 miles at 5:1 is a great accomplishment. It won't be long before you'll be doing that for the entire distance, just be patient! Never forget how far you've come... your future is yours to write emoticon
