Suzy-thanks so much for your comments;guess I'm a lilttle surprised that Chines food there-doesn't help lose weight?,but I guess it depends what it is,and how it is cooked.
Sure right on the vegetable count-and more walking.I'm trying to do the same.
Have a nice day-and great week.

Hi Suzy-Welcome to the Expats Group.I just recently joined a week ago myslef.
This is a great site for helping you to accomplish your goals for losinig weight, becoming healthier and just a better person.
I like the idea of there being so many different Groups, where you can hook up with those you have a special interest in.
I guess I 'm one of the few,who lives in Germany, who is in the Expat Grooup?
I'm here with my Wife, who has lived here for over 40 years. We both went to
High School in Los Angeles,Ca.We didn't have any contact with each other after H.S.,until 2003.
We've only been married since Aug.2005.My Wife,Maggie and I plan to return to my Home State.of Wisconsin in 3 or 4 years.
I have several good friends who are from China-they are very nice people.
Question-are finding that the Chinese food is helping you to lose weight, compared to the usual American foods?
Best Wishes for your continued Success with your Programs at SP.

Hello! Thanks for adding me as a friend! I can always use more of those. ;)

I like your comment about wishing to fit into clothes there. I can certainly understand that, having lived in a few different countries now. In Germany, the only clothes in my size looked like they should be on the ladies from the Golden Girls or something. :D Anyway, I'm making progress, and I see you are too. Talk to you later!

íHola SZGIRL! "Ni hao"

THANK YOU, for adding me as your friend.........You have made my day sunnier today!!! Rosemary, now has a new friend in, dear friend, have been added to my friend's list too. Maybe in (time) I may even get to like Chinese food, (??).

I'm sure things must be tough for you living there sometimes........good heavens.......when I see how Chinese is written, I am just amazed at anyone being able to manage to speak/read and write it. Mind you , it is so pretty with all the characters.

I am sending you "Get Well Soon" vibes across the continents......and hope you are feeling better very soon. Please let me know if I can be of any help to you, in any way at all!! I have lovely Chinese neighbours.......there are 3 Chinese resturants close by.
Keep up the strength training........only now I'm older do I realize just how important it is for us all.

íHasta pronto SZ!
Lots of love to you , (when is the wedding?).
