My Journey
Lately, it occurs to me what a long strange trip its been. I'm a late-40s, borderline obese, sedentary man with a wife, four sons, and two dogs. Or I was. I still have the wife, sons, and dogs. My weight has dropped just enough that I'm not officially obese. I'm still working on getting out of the "overweight" category. UPDATE: 8/24/2010 I'm "normal", with a BMI of 24.96. Mentally, something snapped in March 2010. I just did not want to live the way I was living. I found SparkPeople in April, and I've worked the diet and exercise diligently. UPDATE: 8/12/2010 122 days later, I've lost 38 lbs (17% of starting weight), spent 130 hours exercising, and changed my life.
