Recovering bulimic and working on bettering the quality of my life.. Working on building building my strengths and motivation to push myself out of the box daily. i am on a journey to a happier, healthier & more well balanced me..

Starting weight in 2011 was 315 lbs.
Lost 114 lbs and weighed in at 201 lbs.
This last year I have regained 108 lbs, putting me at 309 lbs.

This journey will primarily be about healing mentally and emotionally first, and then followed by physical. I was diagnosed as bulimic at the very young age of 9 years old and have a lifetime of food abuse and self abuse to heal. I learned to stuff the food and ignore the feelings and it became my safety net and best friend (the food). So, feeling really vulnerable and confused when I take my known safety net away. It's like re-learning everything from the very start.

I am tired of being miserable and having self-pity parties. I'm ready to get right for me and me only, no one else. I want to feel better, feel joy within and find inner peace. I also want to build my self-esteem and find my inner supergirl!

I'm ready to fly!

i have a blog about my weight loss & recovery journey.. link is below ..

Hey! I found you in the NB team. I'm also from NB, and wanted to add you since we seem to have a lot of similarities. :)
I currently work for a graphics and signage business.
I'm also learning about Buddhism, and spirituality.
I also suffer from binge issues.

I checked your "Sully" facebook page, and your journey is inspirational. I suffer from certain trigger foods as well, and I like the way you're tracking, posting and keeping motivated. I wish I could be so open!

Nice to see a fellow NB'er on here, and good luck with your journey!
