This time it's for good

Hi, I'm Sherrie. This is my third go-around with losing "the weight". I lost 50 lbs in 2002, 40 lbs in 2008 and just never let it stick. I am tired of the up and down and I think Spark is a great, free way to get to where I want.
So, here I am again and I will make it this time!!

I would love to hear from you and get to know new friends!

My Goals:
My goals are simple - be healthy, strong, happy. Whatever I need to do to get there, that's what I need to focus on. I don't want to focus on a specific target weight number - just that I feel I am where I need to be to meet those goals.

My Program:
Track it all! Make better choices and exercise at least 5x a week. I am walking 3-4x a week and Yoga/Pilates in between. I walked a 5k on Aug 24th with Anywhere 5K and will be doing another one on Sep 6th. Now, I'm just working on improving my pace.

Also, my hubby and I are working the Dave Ramsey plan to get out of our mountain of debt. We have about 3 years to go, but we feel so in control - moreso than we ever have during our whole marriage.
We look forward to getting through these next 3 years and then eventually being able to pay cash for our son to go to college!!

Personal Information:
I'm from Colorado - I am 42, married for 22 years and have a 10-year old son. We also have 2 dogs and 2 cats.
I love to spend time with my family and try to drag them outdoors when I can! We live in such a beautiful state and I love to be out in nature.

Other Information:
I am a Christian and I love my Lord! I love Bible Study and attending church weekly with my parents. I also love to read SO much and cooking is a big passion of mine.

Thanks for your comment on my blog! I like the idea of having more options too with going to the gym. I've gone in the past, but it's been a very long time. Might have to go by the gym to check on prices, etc. Like you said, I like the idea of being able to go when the weather is bad too. Great to hear from you!
