I will get there, one day at a time

Can you say starting over again for real and really mean it? I mean, this is my 3rd time to get on here and say "This time is for real"... BUT,.... I have to do it this time. I am so tired of all the meds, the not being able to shop in the stores like normal people, not feeling good and most of all... to get rid of my diabetes....

So this is not a start over, this is a continuation, because starting over means I failed the last 3 times, I did not fail, I simply lost my way.

My Goals:
What I want out of life the most is to be healthy and happy. I may never be able to get back down to 135, but that is my "Goal" weight. But if I can get to a healthy weight, where I feel good about myself, and I can do more things with my kids, then I will be good, where ever that may be.

My Program:
The first thing I want to start MY day out with is prayer. After that it will all fall into place if I can just follow the next steps.

1. Eat a 1200 calorie diet
2. NO SODA
3. Exercise 3 times a week
4. Drink 8 glasses of water
5. Keep a positive attitude
6. Take it one day at a time

Personal Information:
I grew up in Jacksonville Alabama and I have only lived away from here for 10 years. This is home. And even though right now I feel out of touch, I love being here.

Other Information:
I love to cook! and it don't have to be just sweets, I will give anything a try. I love to come up with new ways to make things a little more healthy.. even though some times it is a challenge.

Doing well. Today my friend and I start our biggest loser competition at the gym. Should be fun. I hate scales I really do. At least at first. Muscle cancels out the fat loss. Arrghhh. LOL. That's great you are feeling better and being right on with your ranges. I'm proud of you!
