In October of 2007, I herniated 2 discs in my back and found out at the same time that, instead of hanging freely, my spinal cord was tethered to the muscle and tissue in my back. I had a major neurosurgery in May of 2008, and they cut my spinal cord in addition to removing 2" of disc material. Since the original injury, I've gained about 50 lbs and just cannot seem to lose any of it. I now have 2 new herniated discs and am very limited in my exercises but I'm tired of not being able to fit ...

Since the original injury, I've gained about 50 lbs and just cannot seem to lose any of it. I now have 2 new herniated discs and am very limited in my exercises but I'm tired of not being able to fit into any of my clothes and being unhealthy. My 25th birthday and my brother's wedding are both in August and I'm one of the bridesmaids, but I want to be healthy and in shape for these 2 important events in my life.
